How to Use Typing Tournament (Primary Staff Only)

Typing Tournament setup instructions for Glasshouse Christian College.

Teachers 

Logging in for the first time

1. Go to https://www.typingtournament.com/ and click "Login"
2. Click "Login with google"
   
3. If you are prompted to log in or choose an account, login with your Glasshouse Christian College email account ([e-mail]).
4. You will then be asked to give Typing Tournament Online access to your account information, click "Allow"
   

1. Select "I am a Teacher and wish to manage my classes"
2. Choose your Title and "Australia" as your country.
3. Enter Glasshouse Chrstian College's address details as below and tick the box "I declare that I am employed at this school."
4. Find "Glasshouse (Country) Christian College" in the list and click "Join This School"

Managing Classes

1. Click "Create Class" and enter a name for your class.
2. Take note of the Class Code it gives you, you will need to pass this on to your students to join your class.
3. After students start joining your class/es by following the "Students" instructions below, they will automatically start appearing in your Typing Tournament Classlist. Ignore the usernames and passwords listed as they will be using their Google email accounts to login. Please add their student ID from Synergetic to their information to assist in end of year rollover procedures for tracking student progress.

Students

Logging in for the first time

2. Click "Login with google"
3. If you are prompted to log in or choose an account, login with your Glasshouse Christian College email account ([e-mail])
4. You will then be asked to give Typing Tournament Online access to your account information, click "Allow"
5. Select "I am a Student and wish to join my class"
6. Enter the Class Code for your class. If you don't know what it is, ask your teacher.
7. On the next screen, you will be asked to enter your age. Enter it and click OK.
