How to set up Multi-Factor Authentication Using SMS or Phone Call

How to setup MFA with SMS or phone call instead of using the application:

1. Login to a College app such as Google or visit http://aka.ms/mfasetup

2.You will then be prompted for more information, click next

 

3. Select 'I want to set up a different method'

 

When prompted, select 'Phone' from the drop down, and then 'Confirm'.

 

4. Type in your mobile number and select your preferred method

 

5. Type in the code you received via text message.

 

6. SMS Verified

 

7. MFA setup Complete
